Incredisocks

I have always been one of those that are a bit skeptical of compression gear. In fact, anything that is hyped up by everyone else, I tend to stray away from. I tried the ice bath; it only made me cold. I tried the foam roller; it's fun and it feels good but I don't feel a big difference from not using it. So when Incrediwear contacted me to try their compression gear, I thought I would give it a go, even though I was doubtful.

Lucky for me, they not only sent me a calf compression sleeve, but they also sent me several of their different kinds of socks! I usually buy whatever socks Costco or Target has on sale in multi packs, so these socks were such a treat! The compression sleeve, like the foam roller, feels great. It is just tight enough but not too tight and wearing it makes my calf feel like it's being squeezed in a very nice way. I really can't complain.

However, my favorite thing that they sent were the hiking socks. If you ever see me wearing boots and jeans, you can guarantee that I am wearing them under my boots! I wear them around the house as a way to keep warm (and lately it's been pretty chilly) with the hard wood floors. I even wear them for hiking! They are awesome. I want 10 more pairs of these!

My favorite!

So, if you are a compression sleeve lover, you will love their calf sleeves, or if you just want to get cozy feet, you will love their entire line of socks. They also have other compression gear, braces and insoles.

I received these products free of charge in return for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Do you like compression gear? What is your favorite brand of socks?

  1. I love compression! It makes such a big difference now that I'm running back to back long and longish runs on the weekend. My favorite is Swiftwick.

  2. Ooh, I haven't heard of these. But I do love compression! Usually my Recovery sock post long runs, and I occasionally wear TC sleeves to run in as well. Thanks for the review!

  4. I've not tried compression sleeves yet but would like to. What could they hurt? I'm pretty hapoy with most socks but I do tend tonwear my Nike socks most often.

  5. Nice to have comfy thick socks to wear on the hardwood floors. I am doing the same thing this winter.

Nice review, Kyria. Will check them out!

  6. I'm pretty picky when it comes to socks ... I like ankle socks the best, but the elasticity on cheap brands always fall down into my shoe (which is one of my biggest pet peeves!). In the past, I've choked up $10 per pair for Thorlos and have tried some other equally as expensive brands more recently, though I haven't really tried any compression gear. For hiking, keeping warm around the house and even keeping warm when commuting to work, lately I've been a fanatic of anything wool.

  7. I haven't tried compression anything, but I know that some things become the rage for a very good reason.

  8. I have never tried compression socks! But I am picky about the socks I run in as I am prone to blisters because of my high arches. So I get synthetic material socks at my running store.

Those hiking socks sound good though as it's bitterly cold here (currently -10 with a -25 windchill) so cozy socks sound nice!

  9. I have some pro compression socks. I only wear them for recovery though. I love my tommie copper calf sleeves:) I am like you though. Usually buy multi packs of socks especially to wear around the house to keep my feet warm:)

  10. I've never heard of these but they look great! Allan loves to wear compression socks underneath his soccer socks when he plays so he doesn't cramp up.
