I've seen him on Charlie Rose and 60 Min, what an interesting guy, who I'd love to meet. A Thousand Splendid Suns, I bawled my eyes out! My GF's thought I was sacked but something made my emotions go deep reading that book. I seem to be reading more young adult books right now working in the school library, but what fun! I'm also finishing Garrison Keillor's, The Book of Guys….hilarious short stories!!! BTW….counted over 20 hats which include baseball caps:)jillieb2https://www.blogger.com/profile/09986220274445124025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25226414.post-82826911808623057052014-01-07T11:30:30.169-08:002014-01-07T11:30:30.169-08:00I am reading Those Who Save Us right now and reall...I am reading Those Who Save Us right now and really enjoying it!! I am going to start Donna Tart's GoldFinch soon--NPR gave it #1 last year and a friend said it's amazing.

I have not read that Anne Patchett book but would like to, and haven't read a Philipa Gregory since The Other Boelyn Girl, but did enjoy that one. The others I have read--Outliers was fascinating, don't you think? misszippyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16816276167373260149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25226414.post-63680745339583261162014-01-06T05:29:47.753-08:002014-01-06T05:29:47.753-08:00Thank you for sharing your favorite reads of the y...Thank you for sharing your favorite reads of the year! I did my 5 best books post last week and had a hard time picking what to include because I read so many books in 2013 and so many great ones! Some that didn't make the list that could have are The End of Your Life Book Club and The Rosie Project. My favorite book was probably Still Alice or And The Mountains Echoed. My favorite book ever is probably Tuesdays with Morrie. I try to read that book on a regular basis because it gives me the best perspective on things.

Right now I am reading The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult. I usually do not like her books, but this one is really good!Lisa from Lisa's Yarnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05335500882510597919noreply@blogger.com
