You got this thing. :)

One of my fitness goals right now is to do 100 consecutive push-ups. Right now, I can do 21 and I'm slowly adding on 1 a day. I love how strong it makes me feel!

Another goal is to lose weight and lose it for good, which means slow and steady changes to my environment and eating habits. I'll get there! I have an app on my phone, I signed up for a 5k race and I am training in parallel with a friend ... all ways to support me reaching my goal. Oh, and another daycare mom and I just decided to begin meeting up for 5am runs once or twice a week, too. I love how running comes in so many shapes and forms and distances and intensities ... and regardless of how your own running is defined, the running community supports you.Nilsa @ SoMi Speakshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08474642034399063234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25226414.post-56806282397032758702013-05-14T09:44:26.116-07:002013-05-14T09:44:26.116-07:00Neat! I have definitely needed support from family and friends along the way - and their understanding that this totally dominates my life every spring. After the CFA, my next goal will to be tackle the Chicago marathon. Initially I was hoping for a PR there but I don't think that is realistic since I will be starting from scratch when I start training and won't have a base. But at this point, I just want to run it and don't really care about my time.Lisa from Lisa's Yarnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05335500882510597919noreply@blogger.com
